Black-eyed Susan

This botanical watercolor is of black-eyed susans, which are also known as rudbeckia.   While this painting could easily fit in the prairie series, as it has wild relatives, this is a painting based on the cultivated variety.  (The main difference is the size of the flowers.)  This is the seventh painting in the Garden Perennial Series.
