Phlox 'Bright Eyes'

This botanical watercolor is of a beautiful pink phlox cultivar, called 'Bright Eyes'.  In terms of painting a botanical watercolor, this complicate stem of flowers is no more difficult than other flowers once the proper layout is complete.  In fact, the overall complexity helps to hide minor mistakes.  This is the sixth painting in the Garden Perennial Series.
