Shabby Chic Carnations
This still life features a bouquet of pink carnations in a
white ceramic pitcher. The title comes from a friend's
exclamation: "Oh, it's sooo shabby chic!" It
was done in a combination of watercolor and pastel. This
mixing of media creates a variety of interesting and complex
textures.
