fleabane, blazing star, coreopsis, and rattlesnake master.

Notes:
Young girls on the prairie used to learn to sew quilts by
attempting a few simple samplers. In 'Prairie Sampler', four common prairie
flowers have been sewn together into one print. The flowers are (clockwise
from the upper right): daisy fleabane, blazing star, coreopsis, and
rattlesnake master. Like the young girls, this print was also a first --
my first print done on rice paper.
