Papa Bear and Baby

This delightful portrait is of a California Highway Patrol officer and his infant son.  The contrast between the infant and the father's hand was a challenge.  "My brain told me that the hands were out of proportion, but when compared to the photo, they were right."  Accurate drawing is a matter of seeing what is really there and not what your mind tells you.
