Sneakers

This portrait of Sneakers was done in pencil.  Unlike many of the artist's other portraits, she chose to allow the legs to fade out to the left.  As the legs were totally white, this seemed to be the best solution.  An alternative would have been to lightly shade in the background but this would then have competed to some degree with the facial details. (Please note, this scan does not show the details as well as the artist would like.  Pencil drawings with lots of white and delicate shading often results in a grainy scan.)
