Peruvian Macusani

This soft pastel portrait is another sketch that Ms. Hornberger enjoys doing on handmade paper.  The subject is an alpaca called Peruvian Macusani, a gorgeous medium silver grey fellow.  For those not familiar with alpacas, the 'Peruvian' part of his name refers to his being imported from Peru, as opposed to be breed in the US.
