Making Friends

This portrait is a proud alpaca owner, hand-feeding one of his alpacas.  While alpacas are very curious about people, oftentimes they are reluctant to allow one to touch them.  Except when food is involved. 

"This portrait was an interesting challenge.  Not only did I have two faces to accurately portray, but the plaid shirt and the dark brown fleece each had unique problems.  While the alpaca doesn't show up too well in the photo, she is carefully rendered."
