Welcome to the Learning Center!
As L.M. Hornberger has been an artist for over 20 years, she has learned
quite a lot about art, framing, supplies, and other 'artistic' topics. She
has chosen to share some of her knowledge. Hopefully, you will learn
something new -- maybe it'll be something useful or maybe it'll be something to
help appreciate original art more.
The Learning Center is divided into 3 different groups.
 | Art Talks -- long or short discussions on specific topics,
such as on artistic
media and archival framing, |
| Demos -- step-by-step photos and short description of how a piece of
art is created, such as a portrait in oil, framing a pastel, and drawing a
portrait in pencil, and |
| Play Time -- fun diversions to waste time on the computer,
such as a jigsaw puzzle, and other things which the artist does to
amuse herself. |
If there is a specific topic you would like to read about, or if you
have questions on what your read, please contact
the artist. She welcomes most suggestions and will gladly answer
most questions.
