Red Miltoniopsis Flowers

This small oil study is of a spray of red miltoniopsis hybrid orchid flowers.

From the artist:

"I like painting orchids mainly because the flowers are colorful and oddly shaped.  This hybrid orchid is no exception -- wonderful red, white, and yellow flowers.  Besides, I can then justify buying the plant, since it's for my art business!"
